Si tratta di un contest organizzato dal Penn Ohio DX Society  http://www.podxs070.com/ , un club di radioamatori dell ' Ohio ( USA ) appassionati del sistema PSK31 che , oltre a molti altri contest , nel mese di Agosto hanno in calendario anche l' APE .

Per partecipare occorre organizzare nel mese di Agosto una mini spedizione distante almeno 32 Km dal proprio QTH fisso ed effettuare almeno 20 collegamenti con altrettanti radioamatori in PSK31 sulle bande HF .

After an one hour trip through the hills of the Piedmont region, I arrived in the small town of Sale Langhe at 480 meters height above sea level .
This small town is located amid the beautiful hills of the Langhe area of Piedmont region in the North West of Italy.
The Langhe area is known for its cuisine, for its wine and truffles.
